B) T & C relating to the sale of products

This section outlines our terms and conditions relating to the sale of products by Swansea City Association Football Club Limited to you, the customer, via our official online SwansDirect store. 

These terms and conditions apply where you are acting as consumer as defined by The Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer. 

Please read these terms carefully, and print and keep a copy of them for your reference.

We are able to ship to many countries around the world

If your country is not on our drop down listing and would like to purchase from us then please contact us with full details of the product(s). Please note that for delivery outside the UK there is a maximum weight restriction of 2kg.

D) Order by Phone

Unfortunately we are unable to accept orders by phone.

E) Order Online

We offer 24-hour on-line ordering through our website. To order a product, simply ensure your product options are correct and click the add to basket button. You will then be asked if you would like to process the order or continue shopping. Click continue shopping if you wish to order more than one product. After you have completed your order you will automatically be sent an order confirmation by e-mail.

F) Making a contract online

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order. 

Your offer to buy the goods is accepted by us when we dispatch the goods to you. The contract between you and us is formed upon dispatch of the goods. If only part of your order has been dispatched, any other products on the same order which remain outstanding to be dispatched do not form part of that contract.

G) Payment

We accept all major credit and debit cards. These include Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, Electron or Delta. 

We reserve the right to refuse to accept any order submitted. In these circumstances, if your payment has already been processed we will immediately issue a refund for the full value of the amount processed.

H) Security

At SwansDirect we take every precaution to ensure all of your details are kept confidential, all credit card details are taken via secure SSL (Secure Socket Layer) 128 bit encryption and for extra safety no credit card details are stored on site. 

Your browser will confirm that you are shopping in a secure environment by showing either a locked padlock icon or an image of a key.

I) Price

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax).

J) Delivery

All UK orders are dispatched via Royal Mail. The delivery to mainland and off-shore UK is £4.95 for all orders.

Most items are held in stock and dispatch is usually the same day for orders received before 12 noon. We will endeavour to dispatch all orders within 2 days. On rare occasions, some items maybe out of stock at the manufacturer, we will notify you of the estimated arrival date when you can decide whether or not to proceed with the order.

K) Accuracy of product colours

Due to variations in lighting conditions at the time of photography and/or settings on your own computer, there may be differences between the colour of any products that you receive and how they may appear online. 

We will always try and ensure that the colours depicted in any images on the site reflect the actual colour as closely as possible but we recommend that the colours depicted be used as a guide.

L) Cancellation and Returns

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, consumers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. We regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of video, DVD, audio, video games and software products where the item has been unsealed. 

To cancel your purchase within the seven-working-day cooling-off period, please ring our customer services on +44 (0)871 222 3434. Calls cost 13p per minute plus your operators access charge. Alternatively, you can e-mail us your cancellation at sales@swansdirect.com or return the goods to Swansea City AFC, Unit 10 Cwmdu Industrial estate, Carmarthen Road, Swansea SA5 8JF with your letter of cancellation. 

When returning goods under a cancelled order, please package them securely as goods must be received back by us in a saleable condition. For your protection, we recommend that you obtain proof of posting for returned goods. 

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us (unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged or defective). If we do not receive the item back from you, we may arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value. 

Refunds on cancelled orders will be processed within 30 days from when you notify us of cancellation of the order. However, we are usually able to issue refunds within 5-7 working days from when the goods have been returned. 

This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights – for example if goods are faulty or mis-described.

M) Faulty goods

If the goods supplied to you are found to be damaged or defective, or if we have delivered the incorrect item to you, we will offer you a refund or replacement and re-imburse you the cost of return postage. 

However, we cannot be held responsible for any business loss (including loss of profits) or any other indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when the contract for the sale of goods was formed. 

If you have received goods which are damaged, defective or received in error, Please contact our customer services. Please contact us to report the problem as quickly as possible.

N) Referrals and Links

The author of this website is not liable for any contents linked or referred to from this site. The author is not liable for any damage caused by those referred links. 

O) Applicable Law

These terms and conditions are governed and shall be interpreted in accordance with UK law. If any part of these terms and conditions shall be found to be unlawful it shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the conditions. 

In respect of consumer sales only, statutory rights are unaffected by these terms and conditions.

P) Changes to these terms

We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply to future orders.
